I had the idea for Brandhackers, when I had moved back to Boston in 2012. At the time I was mentoring some interesting startups, but I felt they lacked in their storytelling. Seven years later, I decided to launch the first Brandhackers in Athens, Greece and reached out to Stavros Messinis, a friend and fellow startupper, and asked him to join me as my co-founder.
From the moment we wake up, until the time we go to sleep, we are bombarded by thousands of messages, from companies vying for our attention. Branding is the way companies build a unique and different personality, and make a connection with their target customers.
Startups are born out of the ideation and passion of their founders, who usually believe they have the ultimate idea that will blow away the mind of consumers. With nine out of ten startups failing and with fierce competition, being different and memorable can make the difference, between survival and failure. For startups, branding is about building trust in the shortest time possible, to get more runway.
We started Brandhackers to help entrepreneurs elevate their branding and take their startups to the next level.
